About Wendy
Wendy is a talented pianist and educator with over 15 years of experience in private studio instruction, college-level teaching, and international music education. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where she received a full undergraduate scholarship. Her teaching background includes faculty positions at Harper College and North Central College.
Wendy’s personalized teaching approach helps students build strong technical foundations, develop confidence, and discover the joy of musical expression. She tailors lessons to each student’s goals and learning needs, with experience preparing students for recitals, festivals, competitions, and music examinations. Offering instruction in both English and Mandarin, Wendy is dedicated to nurturing each student’s artistic growth and a lifelong appreciation for music.
