About Wendy
Wendy is a pianist and educator dedicated to helping students of all ages and levels build confidence, develop strong piano skills, and discover the joy of making music. She tailors her lessons to each student’s goals and learning needs, combining a strong technical foundation with creativity and musical expression. Wendy holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
She is a doctoral candidate in Music Education at Liberty University, and her teaching experience includes Harper College, Columbia College Chicago, North Central College, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Drawing on her international background in performance and education, Wendy helps students develop their own musical voice through thoughtful, personalized instruction. She offers lessons in English and Mandarin, with a focus on nurturing artistic growth and a lifelong appreciation for music.
